Kebab is a popular take away food, who doesn’t like freshly cooked meat, wrapped in a pita with lettuce, tomato and other garnish?

The good thing about kebabs bought from takeaways is that takeaways tend to be generous with their portions, but that also means there may be a bit left over once you’ve eaten your fill.

So can kebab be reheated? Yes, the kebabs can be reheated the next day to eat again, but it’s not a good idea to reheat them afterwards. Kebabs are layers of meat, whether lamb, chicken or beef, on a thin rod that is heated throughout the day and cut when necessary.

How to heat the kebab

The aluminum foil helps keep the skewer from drying out, and keeps all the flavor and juices on the skewer. The oven method also heats the pita at the same time, so you won’t have to heat it separately.

Check after 30 minutes that the skewer has fully heated up, and if not, leave it for another 5 minutes before checking again.

Heating a skewer on the stove is a good way to keep all the juices in the meat , and to ensure that the meat does not overcook. You can also add more flavor to the meat by cooking it in a pan.
